Guardianship Attorney
Ms. Anna Echeverry is a dedicated Attorney specializing in Guardianship Law. Before joining Dade Legal Aid, Anna served as a Supervising Attorney and Adjunct Professor for the Florida International University College of Law’s Pro Bono Project and FIU Legal Practice in Guardianship and Wills. As a Supervising Attorney at FIU Law’s Clinical Programs, Anna provided prospective Guardians and appointed Guardians support and guidance through guardianship procedures and proceedings. As an Adjunct Professor at FIU Law’s Pro Bono Project and FIU Legal Practice, Anna educated FIU Law students in the values and procedures of the Guardianship Court and mentored the students in client-based professionalism involving the sensitive nature of Guardianship Law. From the inception of her legal career, Anna has focused on Guardianship and Estate Planning Law, gaining valuable experience in these areas of law.
Anna graduated from Florida International University College of Law and became a Member of the Florida Bar in 2020. While at FIU Law, Anna was awarded the Excellence in Service Award and the Medallion of Civic Engagement Award for providing over 175 hours of pro-bono work. Throughout law school, Anna achieved Dean’s list multiple times. She was a member of FIU Law’s Negotiation and Mediation Team and the Senior Executive Editor of the World of Arbitration and Mediation Law Review. Anna also worked as a Research Assistant for Professor H.T. Smith.
Anna was born in New York and raised in Miami. She is fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
