Spotlight on Alexandra Mesa

Legal Aid receives many notes of appreciation from clients, judges, volunteers and opposing counsel. We appreciate feedback and strive to make client’s lives better off than before they applied to our agency for assistance.

 

Alexandra Mesa, a staff attorney who handles family law cases, also handles landlord-tenant cases for individuals who are unable to be served by the housing unit at Legal Services of Greater Miami.  Ms. Mesa’s colleagues from Legal Services Housing Department have guided and mentored her for the past five years, working together to serving low-income clients facing eviction.  Recently, one of Ms. Mesa’s co-counsel on a mobile park homeowner case commended her professionalism in the handling of several homeowner’s cases.  “I want to emphasize that Alexandra Mesa is an incredibly passionate and effective advocate,” said co-counsel. “We often speak to one another regarding strategies for how to approach mobile home cases. She is a pleasure to collaborate with, and is a valuable asset to your organization,” said her colleague.
