Managing Attorney
Ms. Robbins is the Managing Attorney of the Guardianship Department where she oversees the growing practice and a team of over a dozen dedicated staff members and Certified Legal Interns. During her nearly 30 years of practice, she has focused on the areas of Probate, Guardianship, Family Law, Child Advocacy, Dependency, Disability Law, Foster Youth Advocacy, Administrative Law, Civil Litigation and Appeals. In addition to handling a complex and growing caseload, she enthusiastically supervises multiple staff attorneys, offices and a variety of projects, including the Foster Youth Guardianship Project and the Transitioning Youth Administrative Appeals Project. Likewise, she provides invaluable support and mentorship on various legal issues to Put Something Back Pro Bono Project's Wills on Wheels, Guardianship and Heirs Projects. A certified NITA instructor, she lectures and trains locally, statewide and nationally and has been recognized by her peers as a leader and visionary. During law school, she was selected as a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow in the summer of 1996, fueling her passion to serve the less fortunate. Upon graduating law school in 1998, Ms. Robbins practiced civil litigation in Lake Worth. She is a 1997 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and is a distinguished member of the Iron Arrow Honor Society, the highest honor attainable at University of Miami. Among her many honors, she is the 2016 Recipient of the Miami Dade Bar Robert L. Shevin Public Service Award.
